Onboarding Verification Specialist
Job Summary
The Onboarding Verification Specialist will be responsible for completing in-house background checks for all new hires at Sun River Health. This role ensures that all pre-employment requirements are met and that the onboarding process is efficient and compliant with company policies and regulations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Congduct comprehensive background checks for all new hires, including verification of employment history, education and criminal records
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding teams to ensure timely completion of background checks and pre-employment requirements
- Communicate with new hires to gather necessary documentation and provide updates on the status of their background checks
- Maintain accurate records of all background check processes and results
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding background checks and employment verification
- Act as a liaison between new hires and various departments to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience
- Address any issues or discrepancies found during the background check process and work with the appropriate parties to resolve them
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in onboarding, human resources, or a related area
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders
- Knowledge of verification processes and healthcare industry experience is a plus
