Onboarding Verification Specialist

Job Summary

The Onboarding Verification Specialist will be responsible for completing in-house background checks for all new hires at Sun River Health. This role ensures that all pre-employment requirements are met and that the onboarding process is efficient and compliant with company policies and regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Congduct comprehensive background checks for all new hires, including verification of employment history, education and criminal records
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding teams to ensure timely completion of background checks and pre-employment requirements
• Communicate with new hires to gather necessary documentation and provide updates on the status of their background checks
• Maintain accurate records of all background check processes and results
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding background checks and employment verification
• Act as a liaison between new hires and various departments to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience
• Address any issues or discrepancies found during the background check process and work with the appropriate parties to resolve them
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in onboarding, human resources, or a related area
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders
• Knowledge of verification processes and healthcare industry experience is a plus

$27.18 - $29.11 per hour
