Onboarding Specialist

About the role

The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in building the team that drives excellence at Tulley Automotive Group. With a focus on recruitment and foundational HR operations, this position ensures candidates feel the "Tulley Way" from day one.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Lead the screening, background check, and eligibility processes to ensure every candidate feels welcome.
• Own the orientation process, setting up new hires in systems and leading their first day, providing necessary tools and training.
• Assist with payroll and benefits processing, maintaining employee records, and providing backup support across locations.
• Act as a go-to resource for policy questions and help maintain the positive and supportive workplace culture.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with both applicants and leadership.
• An analytical, organized approach with strong attention to detail.
• A progressive mindset eager to learn the HR world from the ground up.
• Comfortable working independently or with a team, and willing to travel between sites.
• Active Driver’s License (Required for site visits).
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to multi-task.
• A "can-do" attitude.
