Responsibilities

  • Ensures safety is a condition and enforces all safety directives.
  • Onboards new hires by tracking and supporting them through orientation and the first 45-60 days of employment.
  • Trains new hires on the production floor using hands-on techniques and makes recommendations to the Onboarding Supervisor.
  • Administers, tracks, and evaluates the Onboarding Training Program.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources and Operations to ensure new hires receive proper training.
  • Develops and promotes positive relationships among new hires, peers, and leaders.
  • Participates in Human Resources and company committees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous training experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of all jobs in the area.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional communication and demeanor.
  • Ability to present ideas and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
  • Excellent presentation skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a plant/industrial environment.

Skills

  • Bilingual (a plus).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
