Responsibilities
- Ensures safety is a condition and enforces all safety directives.
- Onboards new hires by tracking and supporting them through orientation and the first 45-60 days of employment.
- Trains new hires on the production floor using hands-on techniques and makes recommendations to the Onboarding Supervisor.
- Administers, tracks, and evaluates the Onboarding Training Program.
- Collaborates with Human Resources and Operations to ensure new hires receive proper training.
- Develops and promotes positive relationships among new hires, peers, and leaders.
- Participates in Human Resources and company committees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous training experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Knowledge of all jobs in the area.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Professional communication and demeanor.
- Ability to present ideas and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
- Excellent presentation skills and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in a plant/industrial environment.
Skills
- Bilingual (a plus).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
