About the role
We are looking for a talented Onboarding Coordinator to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. You will manage the onboarding process and new hire journey for all new staff. As an Onboarding Coordinator, you have a thorough knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas. We are looking for a person who thinks “outside-the-box” and finishes projects in a timely manner. Ultimately, you should be able to assist our recruitment cycle and ensure we always meet our staff requirements. The Onboarding Coordinator is pivotal to the support and growth of Trulieve, while supporting Trulieve’s mission and values daily.
Responsibilities
- Daily interactions with candidates, via email, phone, text to support and manage the needs through the onboarding process
- Monitor Zendesk and shared email inboxes
- Follow up with new employees to evaluate onboarding experience and recommend ways to enhance the new hire onboarding programs and experience
- Candidate data management within the ATS system and complete onboarding form
- Follow-up with the Onboarding Coordinators on candidates’ backgrounds, I-9, and fingerprinting
- Preparing onboarding details, requesting of badges, technology needs, and support continuous communication with candidates
- Weekly dashboards/reports on candidate state of readiness within Smartsheet
- Regularly assesses and recommends program changes and enhancements to drive better retention and engagement of new hires
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience within HR or a related field
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
Schedule
40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
