Temporary Program Coordinator
About the role
The Institute of Environment is currently seeking a Temporary Program Coordinator to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develops, oversees and facilitates hands-on education outreach activities related to Coastal Resilience and Living Shorelines.
- Manages the broader impacts requirements of research grants, including the execution of committed interactions and reporting.
- Facilitates and manages the logistics for outreach opportunities and programs with schools.
- Works across departments, including RDF land and Marine Sciences, to develop and facilitate cross-curricular K-12 outreach programs.
- Works with leadership to maintain program communications including websites, newsletters, mailers and social media content curation.
- Represents CASE/IE at meetings, conferences and workshops.
- Reports on program outcomes as required by funding agencies and as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or military experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with educational outreach and community engagement.
Benefits
As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement). Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), a temporary employee who works on average 30 hours or more per week may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits. As a temporary employee, you are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g. dental, vision,) which requires full payment on your part.
Pay
$18.00 per hour
