Medley at Mirada, located in San Antonio, FL, is seeking a driven individual to oversee all aspects of the Homeowners Association (HOA) operations, including relationships between the community, residents, guests, and employees. This role works directly with the Community Board of Directors, Troon Leadership, Finance/Budget Team, and vendors to deliver unparalleled service and lifestyle experiences.
Responsibilities
- Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous, and genuine service to all residents, guests, and employees.
- Motivates, directs, and assists department heads and front-line staff on a daily basis.
- Plans, develops, and implements operational procedures and methods in concert with Troon practices and policies.
- Oversees privacy functions in coordination with the Board.
- Ensures HOA goals and objectives are implemented to meet resident, Board, and Troon Management expectations.
- Coordinates development of operating and capital budgets; monitors financial statements and takes corrective action as needed.
- Maintains memberships with relevant professional associations and attends industry conferences, workshops, and meetings.
- Understands and maintains HOA financial record-keeping; completes required reporting.
- Monitors service quality and ensures maximum resident satisfaction.
- Secures and protects HOA assets, including facilities and equipment.
- Builds and nurtures professional relationships between the community, team members, and the company.
- Directs and coordinates activities of contracted vendors and evaluates their performance.
- Facilitates and prepares paperwork for meetings (Budget, Annual, Board of Directors).
- Investigates complaints, disturbances, and violations; resolves problems following rules and regulations.
- Inspects grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine repair or maintenance needs.
- Solicits and analyzes bids from contractors for community repairs and maintenance.
- Assists in planning, scheduling, and coordinating general maintenance, major repairs, and construction projects.
- Maintains records of maintenance, operating costs, and related association expenses.
- Purchases supplies as needed.
- Assists the Board with vendor selection and manages contracts for services such as cleaning, maintenance, and security.
- Assists in preparing detailed budgets and financial reports for the association.
- Confers regularly with community association members to ensure their needs are met.
- Meets with the Board of Directors and committees to discuss association matters.
- Provides leadership to team members.
Requirements
- Community Association Manager (CAM) License required.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications.
- Five years of previous community management experience in association operations required; ten years preferred.
- Proven leadership experience is mandatory.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and employees in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Ability to create and disseminate clearly written correspondence.
- Strong delegation, motivation, and team management skills.
- Computer literacy required.
- Proficiency in math computations for budgeting and cost analysis.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, talk, or hear.
- Frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.
- Occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and taste or smell.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
