About the role

The role involves supervising and leading a team of Client Banking Officers to ensure exceptional client and business partner service. Key responsibilities include coordinating team activities, assisting with escalated issues, processing transactions, and managing personnel actions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates daily activities of the team including delegation of assignments, scheduling, and training.
  • Affords leadership during absence of the Team Manager.
  • Assists with escalated issues from various internal lines of business.
  • Processes, reconciles, and approves routine and complex transactions.
  • Identifies and resolves exceptions and escalates items as necessary.
  • Partners with service partners to route calls, documents, or other action items.
  • Reviews transactions and verifies work processes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • May review reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance.
  • Participates in risk mitigation activities.
  • Leads by example, sets high standards, and follows established bank policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates processes for improvement and productivity.
  • Manages, supports, coaches, and trains employees.
  • Performs personnel actions including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviews.
  • Prepares and delivers employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulations and laws (Regulation Z, Regulation B, Fair Housing Act, etc.).
  • Intermediate skills in computer operations and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Intermediate math skills for calculations and verifications.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions with moderate impact.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work schedules.
  • Ability to provide consultation and expert advice.
  • Ability to make informal and formal presentations.
  • Ability to handle complex problems and make decisions in non-standardized situations.
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • 3 years of prior banking or financial services industry experience required.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience and/or training.
  • Education through in-house training sessions, formal school, or financial industry-related curriculum.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ECCHO Rules and NACHA Rules.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Skills

  • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation.
  • Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Intermediate math skills for calculations and verifications.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The base salary is determined based on a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities, and market data, among other factors.
