Accountabilities
- Customer Service - 50%
- Provide a high level of customer service, including greeting walk-in customers & answering incoming calls.
- Perform paying & receiving functions for customers, such as cashing checks, taking deposits, withdrawals, mortgage, consumer loan & other payments.
- Ensure daily cash balances are kept secure & within assigned drawer limits.
- Understand & comply with relevant laws & compliance regulations, including bank secrecy act, privacy, & funds availability policy.
- Recognize & handle suspicious behavior, consulting management when necessary.
- REA: Retain/Expand/Attract - 40%
- Successfully retain, expand & attract clients to Profinium’s products & services.
- Absorb & assist clients with account relationships, opening new accounts, & providing recommendations.
- Recommend policy/procedure enhancements to improve customer service & coworker relations.
- Assist with credit card lending, ready reserves & lending, including real estate lending.
- Achieve personal & team partnership goals based on annual targets.
- Understand & generate quality credit within bank policy guidelines.
- Create interest in products & actively cross-sell other services.
- Other - 10%
- Assess emerging issues & potential liabilities.
- Support the compliance function as needed.
- Train on Relationship Banking Products & Procedures.
- Approve wires, official checks, ACHs & similar transactions as outlined in the Bank’s approval authority policy.

- Education, Experience & Skills:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in a community bank.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service environment.
- Strong knowledge of typical bank products & services.
- Registered with the Federal Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS).
- High numerical aptitude.
- Dexterity to count money.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Skills needed in a typical office environment, including computer skills & utilization of office equipment.
