About the role

We are seeking a Relationship Banking Supervisor to join our Branch team at Polar Park Branch. This is a full-time position where you will oversee operational excellence, serve as a mentor, and model exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the manager in creating a sales culture and participating in business development and outreach.
  • Be the primary point of contact for customers regarding all UniBank products and services.
  • Oversee and audit operational procedures, including safe deposit, negotiable instruments, night deposits, etc.
  • Function as vault teller, distributing, verifying, and proving vault cash.
  • Perform security functions by opening and closing the bank and vault, ensuring safety and security.
  • Receive and verify retail staff reports, investigating discrepancies and taking corrective action.
  • Support the Branch manager with security and compliance obligations, including state and federal law compliance.
  • Supervise employees, train, assign tasks, provide feedback, and address concerns.
  • Assist in verifying transactions, signing checks, and providing overrides as necessary.
  • Participate in and assist with community and networking events.
  • Manage in the absence of the Relationship Branch Manager.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail environment required, retail banking preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, math, and customer service skills.
  • Clerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging customer situations.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Willingness to mentor and direct others.
  • Ability to travel to other Branch locations as needed.
  • Participation in bank-sponsored events during non-bank hours.

Pay

The estimated base hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hr to $35.00/hr. Final hourly offer will be determined based on a particular candidate's unique combination of factors such as skills, education, experience, and certifications.
