OFFICE TECHNICIAN (TYPING)
About the role
The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) seeks a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt, evaluate, and be part of a changing organizational structure. This opportunity is for one Office Technician (Typing) position within the Care Provider Management Branch (CPMB).
Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of incoming calls.
- Utilize the case management system to answer questions regarding criminal record background check processes.
- Refer calls to the appropriate person or program office.
Requirements
The position requires the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications. You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed prior to being hired.

Skills
