Office Technician (Typing)
About the role
The Office Technician (Typing) (OT) will perform various administrative tasks under the supervision of the Supervisor I. These tasks include scanning and organizing documents, processing mailings, maintaining spreadsheets, scheduling meetings, and assisting with special projects.
Responsibilities
- Scan and organize documents onto a shared drive for electronic transmission to staff.
- Image/purge files after they are received by the California Gambling Control Commission.
- Prepare requests for court documents and monitor responses.
- Respond to Public Records Act and subpoena requests.
- Process individual and mass mailings for the Licensing Section, including sending, filing, imaging, and distributing bi-annual reports.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets to track workload.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, taking minutes of the meetings.
- Imaging and purging existing licensing files and digitizing ordinance files.
- Order supplies and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with legal and public records procedures is preferred. Knowledge of computer systems and software applications is necessary. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks is essential.

$3,829.00 - $4,794.00 per month.
