Responsibilities
- Aid in the collection, sorting, and delivery of daily mail.
- Coordinate and assist with local delivery (downtown area) of documents and packages on a daily schedule.
- Handle all emergency deliveries.
- Assist with document production and serve as a backup to the office receptionist.
- Aid in conference room set-up, ensuring rooms are cleaned and properly stocked.
- Reconcile credit card statements.
- Perform general office duties.
Requirements
- Superior interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of the firm (attorneys, legal administrative assistants, administration, and other members of staff) and with clients and visitors.
- Strong personal and professional ethics and integrity.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in creating, editing, proofreading, and finalizing all written communication, including emails, memos, documents, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Professionalism and valid driver’s license with daily access to a personal vehicle.
- One to two years of experience working in an office environment.
- A high school diploma is required; an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm setting is a plus.
