Join Arizona Foundation Solutions as a Permitting Technician, where you will support our Permitting and Logistics teams by coordinating permit processing, maintaining project documentation, assisting with scheduling and job readiness activities, and facilitating project closeout from permit issuance through final inspection. The Permitting Technician plays a key role in helping projects move efficiently from permit issuance through closeout completion This role serves as a key connection between municipalities, customers, field teams, inspectors, and internal departments to help ensure projects move efficiently and remain compliant throughout the construction process. Assist with preparing documentation for final inspections and project closeout. Run permits to municipalities as needed for submissions, postings, signatures, corrections, and final inspection requirements. Maintain permit trackers and project notes with current statuses, action dates, next steps, and outstanding requirements. Follow up on permit-related items with municipalities, inspectors, and internal teams. Upload, organize, and maintain permit-related documents within company systems. Ensure permit files are complete, accurate, and accessible for internal stakeholders. Support the Scheduling Coordinator with customer confirmations and documentation updates. Help verify project readiness by confirming permits, engineering approvals, inspections, utility locates, customer communications, and site access requirements. Maintain trackers, spreadsheets, reports, and shared logistics documentation. Communicate project updates clearly and professionally with customers, municipalities, field personnel, and internal departments. Escalate issues involving delays, missing documentation, or unclear requirements. Provide timely updates regarding permit progress and closeout activities. Experience working with municipalities, permitting processes, construction documentation, inspection coordination, or related administrative support preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to accurately maintain records, trackers, databases, and documentation. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments. Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for occasional permit runs. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English. Ability to maintain a stationary position for extended periods while performing administrative and computer-based tasks.
