Installation Technician

About the role

Join a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable technicians. You will troubleshoot and repair current systems and equipment, and play a key role in staging and deploying new systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile, on-site, and/or in-house installations of mobile radios, lights, sirens, and other vehicle equipment as requested by customers.
• Respond to customer locations to troubleshoot, repair, remove, or replace mobile radios, lights, sirens, and other vehicle equipment.
• Perform designated tasks in accordance with Project Manager or Senior Technician specifications for projects involving consoles, racks, cabinets, and other communication equipment.
• Assist sales in job-walks and evaluations for vehicle installs to determine proper labor and materials needed for efficient job completion.
• Install and remove communication equipment, including antennas, repeaters, cabinets, and racks, from customer sites and facilities.
• Maintain proper inventory of assigned equipment, parts, and tools.
• Maintain and upkeep company-provided vehicle, including oil changes, preventative maintenance, and daily cleaning.
• Complete and submit relevant paperwork in a timely fashion to ensure proper accountability and billing for all assigned jobs or projects.

Requirements

• RF knowledge
• Basic IP site connectivity ability
• 3-5 years of industry experience
