About The Role

We're looking for a Part-Time Office Manager / Junior People Ops Coordinator to support day-to-day office operations and light administrative HR tasks. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats — from planning team events to coordinating with building facilities staff. This position covers responsibilities previously handled in-office, including event coordination, supply ordering, and administrative support, and requires someone available to work on-site to manage physical office needs (key cards, deliveries, facilities issues, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate internal team events and office gatherings
  • Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, and day-of execution
  • Order office snacks, drinks, and supplies; maintain inventory
  • Manage key card issuance and access requests for employees
  • Handle general administrative tasks to support day-to-day office needs
  • Serve as the point of contact for building management/superintendent on facilities issues
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance requests, and vendor visits
  • Ensure the office space is well-maintained and stocked
  • Support basic administrative HR tasks as needed
  • Assist with onboarding-related office logistics (e.g., setting up workstations, key cards for new hires)
  • Perform other duties as assigned, based on the evolving needs of the office and team

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an office management, administrative, or facilities coordination role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing vendor and building management relationships
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple ongoing tasks
  • Open to part-time hours (20 hours p/w, two full in office days, one half day remote); flexibility on schedule is a plus
  • Ability to work from our office in midtown Manhattan two days per week (Tuesday/Thursday)

What We Offer

  • Compensation: Up to $30.00 per hour + lunch stipend for office days
  • Development: Career advancement and training opportunities
  • Great Culture: A diverse, collaborative, and positive culture where we invest in and celebrate each other's success (happy hours, team projects, and retreats)

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
