Responsibilities

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Provide daily support to Director of Finance & Administration and COO: correspondence, document prep, meeting coordination
  • Prepare, edit, and format letters, reports, presentations, and executive materials
  • Coordinate Board and Annual Meeting materials; assist with Annual Report content

Financial & Bookkeeping Support

  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Reconcile reports and accounts monthly; help organize year-end close, audit prep, filings
  • Monitor budgets, cash flow, expenses; assist with insurance renewals and vendor contracts

Shareholder Relations & Records

  • Maintain official shareholder records and database in compliance with State, federal, and ANCSA requirements
  • Coordinate mailings, election materials, proxies, and announcements
  • Respond to shareholder inquiries; support Annual Meeting logistics

Office & Facilities Coordination

  • Main contact for office equipment/tech issues; maintain office supplies; coordinate facility needs

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (required); bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 3–5 years in administrative support, bookkeeping, or office management
  • Alaska Native Corporation, tribal, or government contracting experience (preferred)

Skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite; working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organization, time management, and discretion

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based, occasional interruptions or shifting priorities

Background Check

Final candidates will undergo a background check due to fiduciary responsibility and access to confidential financial/shareholder records. Offers may be contingent on results.
