About the role
This position supervises the front office and performs various patient care coordinator activities. The role also involves interviewing new or replacement staff, coordinating cross-training, and assisting the Practice Manager during their absence.
Responsibilities
- Staff management
- Auditing for accuracy
- Maintaining quality control
- Maintaining daily, weekly, monthly schedules
- Interviewing new or replacement staff

- Facility and equipment needs
- Patient satisfaction
- Handling patient complaints
- Verifying patient eligibility before treatment
- Establishing payment plans on outstanding balances
- Purchasing office and medical supplies
- Filing insurance
- Distributing refunds
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical office, medical terminology, supervision preferred
- Excellent customer service, computer, communication skills required

Pay
Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35
Schedule
Monday-Thursday: 8a-2p. May work remote one day, other three days present at AH Mercy.
