About the role

Churchend Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment, contributing to the education and development of our pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupils' progress and well-being.
  • Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, safeguarding their health and safety.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
