About the role
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating residents and developing personalized OT treatment plans.
- Choosing activities to promote residents' independence in daily tasks.
- Assessing, observing, and documenting residents' progress through detailed reports.
- Maintaining resident confidentiality and fostering a cooperative healthcare team environment.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Current New York State OT License or actively working toward licensure.
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
