Occupational Therapist PRN
Job Summary
Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Guided by our mission to care for and improve human life, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each patient’s unique goals and capabilities. Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands-on treatment that supports recovery through every stage of healing.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date (OT)
- Working knowledge of relevant clinical resources and professional growth opportunities
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and families
- Passion for providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence

About the Role
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. We have the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults. We are part of the HCA Healthcare network - which includes more than 300 affiliate facilities across the country – offering our colleagues the opportunity for travel and relocation.
