Occupational Therapist PRN

This position is for a skilled nursing facility in Lakeway that serves both short-term and long-term patients. Vista Ridge Senior Care features an in-house therapy team with smaller daily caseloads, all new equipment, and a focus on optimizing time with patients. Full-time employees receive CEU and licensure reimbursements.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative and skilled therapy maintenance services to residents with mental, physical, psychosocial, or developmental impairments.
• Maintain expected productivity and efficiency as set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
• Keep accurate and timely occupational therapy records, including resident progress and daily notes, in compliance with federal, state, and insurance guidelines.
• Record accurate billing information for occupational therapy services rendered.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure therapy equipment operates properly by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and requesting repairs as needed.
• Uphold occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements.
• Enhance the reputation of occupational therapy practice by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• Current Texas licensure as an OTR is required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Pay

$55–60 hourly.
