Occupational Therapist PRN

About the role

Provide PRN coverage primarily on weekdays, with occasional weekends or holidays, delivering patient-centered, community-focused care in a supportive, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with psychosocial dysfunction.
• Conduct activity programs and assist in implementing therapy interventions.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Deliver services aligned with the organization's mission and values.
• Utilize age-appropriate knowledge to meet patients' physical and psychosocial needs.
• Ensure quality care delivery, support patient recovery, and collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
• Less than two years of experience (preferred).
• Initial OT certification from AOTCB or NBCOT.
• Occupational Therapist licensure in Maryland.
• CPR certification from AHA Healthcare Provider.
