About the Role
The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients, develops tailored treatment plans, measures progress, and educates patients to optimize outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions
- Modify treatment strategies as needed
- Ensure safety precautions are followed during therapy
Requirements
- Current Florida Occupational Therapy license
- Less than one year of clinical experience
- Hospital-based rehabilitation experience preferred
- Splinting/orthotic fabrication experience advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Specific coursework in Occupational Therapy recommended
Skills
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy theories, procedures, and equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
