Occupational Therapist | PRN Acute Care

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients, develops and adjusts treatment plans, and educates patients to ensure optimal outcomes. Responsibilities Assess patients across all age groups to determine their needs and conditions.Design and modify therapy programs based on patient progress and diagnosis.Educate patients on treatment procedures and safety precautions.Measure and document patient progress throughout therapy.Maintain knowledge of occupational therapy practices, equipment, and safety measures.Utilize computer skills for documentation and communication. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s preferred.Current Florida Occupational Therapy license and BLS certification.Knowledge of therapy procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation and splinting/orthotic fabrication is a plus.Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant settings.
