Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics

About the role

Harmony Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing pediatric therapy team. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling and a flexible start date. Locations: Basking Ridge, NJ & Chatham, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily treatment sessions targeting individualized goals
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on each child's age, developmental stage, and specific needs
• Utilize evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
• Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes
• Create and oversee home programs for families and caregivers
• Incorporate play-based therapeutic approaches to engage and motivate children
• Complete daily documentation and maintain accurate records
• Educate and coach parents and caregivers on therapeutic strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient success
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
