Select Kids Pediatric Therapy in Wasilla, AK is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits, and more. You will play an integral role in collaborating with other professionals to help our pediatric patients reach their goals and learn new skills.

Compensation

  • Salary starting at $85,000 up to $90,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency, and duration of occupational therapy in coordination with the referring physician
  • Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within state and federal guidelines
  • Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs, including patient care responsibilities and documentation
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with managerial and physician approval per HIPAA guidelines
  • Stay current with occupational therapy research and employ evidence-based practice
  • Adhere to state Practice Act and regulations governing occupational therapy practice and supervision

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
  • State occupational therapist license (or eligibility)
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver’s license
