Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics

About the role

NovaCare Kids is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) to join our team. We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits and more. Feeding experience preferred. You will play an integral role in collaborating with other professionals to help our pediatric patients reach their goals and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses
• Collaborate with other professionals to support patient goals
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment programs
• Provide individualized treatment based on patient needs
• Adhere to state practice act and federal regulations
• Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures
• Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
• State occupational therapist license (or eligibility)
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license

Pay

Compensation is based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and/or $350 per month in student debt relief.
