Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist specialized in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assertive Technology to provide skilled outpatient services. This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans considering discharge needs, and utilizing technology to enhance communication for children.

Responsibilities

• Establishes personalized treatment plans and administers therapy sessions.
• Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
• Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on competency levels.
• Completes documentation following departmental policies.
• Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• No prior experience required; supervision experience is not mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
