Occupational Therapist (OTR), PRN

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents to improve their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and regain independence.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and care team members.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
• Conduct staff education and in-service training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred).
• Active, unencumbered OT license in South Carolina (required).
• Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
