Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents to improve their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and regain independence.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and care team members.
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
- Conduct staff education and in-service training.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred).
- Active, unencumbered OT license in South Carolina (required).
- Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board.
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
