Occupational Therapist (OTR), PRN

River Falls Post Acute, located in Marietta, South Carolina, offers a competitive salary range of $45–$50 per hour, flexible PRN scheduling, and reliable hours within the largest post-acute care network in South Carolina. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents within 24 hours, or one business day, of physician referral when possible
• Develop individualized treatment plans and obtain physician approval as required
• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established goals
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Assist the nursing department with training Restorative Aides
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, utilization review meetings, and discharge planning activities
• Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress notes, and required documentation accurately and timely
• Education and caregivers on therapy goals, maintenance programs, and discharge recommendations
• Recommend and facilitate acquisition of adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment as appropriate
• Report equipment concerns and assist in maintaining a safe therapy environment
• Conduct in-service education and training for facility staff as needed

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina and in good standing
• Maintain all required continuing education requirements
• Must remain in good standing with the applicable State Board
