About the role
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop personalized OT treatment plans
- Select activities to promote residents' independence in daily activities
- Observe, assess, and document residents' progress with detailed reports
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Current New York State OT License or in the process of obtaining it
- Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
