Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
• Implement and revise treatment plans with patient and family input, providing education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, patient education, and discharge details according to departmental standards.
• Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, ensure punctuality, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Deliver excellent customer service, apply AIDET principles, foster teamwork, and promote a positive patient experience.
• Participate in professional development, complete required certifications, and support orientation and training of new staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS certification required.
