Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy (Full Time)

About the role

A licensed Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement patient care following professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Provide patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, and manage a full caseload.
• Handle documentation, billing, scheduling, and administrative duties.
• Supervise support staff and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize clinical and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and leadership to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Possibly serve as a clinical instructor or participate in departmental committees.
• Perform specialized outpatient hand therapy duties, including fabrication of splints and management of post-surgical or injury wounds.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is preferred.
