Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy (Full-time)

About the Role

This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing patient care in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Provide patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, and manage all administrative tasks including documentation, billing, and scheduling.
• Communicate professionally, supervise support staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate with healthcare leadership and referring physicians for cohesive patient care.
• Adhere to organizational policies, professional ethics, and scope of practice.
• Flex to other departments based on patient needs; may serve as a clinical instructor or participate in committees.
• Specialized Outpatient Hand Therapy: Fabricate custom splints, manage post-surgical and injury wounds.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Relevant education from an accredited program.
• CHT credential preferred but not mandatory.
