Occupational Therapist-Hand Therapist (Non CHT)

Position Overview

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for their outpatient orthopedic center in Lansdale, PA. The position offers a competitive salary range of $78,000-$90,000 annually, contingent upon experience, with a $2000 sign-on bonus.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or an Occupational Therapist who is close to sitting for their CHT. They should have at least 2000 hours of licensed experience working in hand therapy and be open to mentoring opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions
• Apply custom splinting pre and post-operatively
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and healthcare facilities
• Participate in the Mentorship Program for therapists interested in becoming a CHT

Requirements

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation
• Hand and splinting experience preferred

Pay

$78,000-$90,000 annually based on experience

Schedule

Full-time 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 2 evenings a week until 7pm.
