Occupational Therapist-Hand Therapist (Non CHT)

Position Overview

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for their outpatient orthopedic center located in Camden and Burlington Counties. The position covers clinic hours from 8am-7pm, Monday through Friday.

Compensation

$50.00-$60.00 hourly based on experience.

About the Role

Based out of Cherry Hill West, this position covers surrounding locations in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties. The ideal candidate will have a background in occupational therapy and a level II fieldwork in hands, though a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients
• Treatment and discharge planning
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and their staff
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment
• Supervise assistants and aides
• Contribute to case management
• Stay current with occupational therapy research and evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Two years in adult rehabilitation
• Hand and splinting experience preferred
