Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist/COTA

About the role

We are seeking a TPD Occupational Therapist preferred Certified Hand Therapist (temporary per diem / on-call) to join our dynamic team at Missoula Bone & Joint and Surgery Center. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized plans of care
• Execute effective treatment programs tailored to individual needs
• Conduct re-evaluations to monitor progress and facilitate timely discharges
• Collaborate with patients and the healthcare team to communicate treatment goals and progress
• Showcase expertise in custom bracing and orthotics

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational or Physical Therapy program
• Specialty certification in Hand Therapy or pursuing one
• National registration and Montana state licensure
• One year of clinical experience as a practicing hand or occupational therapist
• Current BLS or ACLS certifications

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of managing patients with hand injuries and disorders
• Excellent skills in orthotic fabrication
• Advanced orthopedic skills
• Effective communication skills
