About the role
Deliver home-based occupational therapy to patients in accordance with state laws and treatment plans established by supervising Occupational Therapists. The role emphasizes providing equitable, patient-centered care, adhering to legal and ethical standards, and functioning effectively in diverse home environments.
Responsibilities
- Instruct patients and caregivers in occupational therapy techniques and exercises.
- Observe and report patient responses to therapy interventions.
- Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate varied home environments.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable access to transportation.
- Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
