Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Role Overview

Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled patient care in an acute care setting, focusing on evaluation and treatment planning. The role involves establishing individualized treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and documenting services in compliance with departmental policies. Provide assessment, reassessment, and consultation for Occupational Therapy services. Consider discharge needs, functional status, and equipment requirements in treatment planning. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; supervisory experience not necessary.
