About the Role
The Occupational Therapist assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements patient care through occupational therapy interventions, ensuring adherence to all relevant standards. They provide technical therapy care, supplies, and equipment to a designated patient population.
Responsibilities
- Supervise volunteers, students, support staff, and assistants involved in therapy services.
- Interpret and implement physician orders to deliver safe, effective care.
- Maintain confidentiality, communicate professionally, and optimize use of resources.
- Create a positive environment for therapy and perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Schedule
Full-time position, five days per week, eight hours per day.
