About the role
This role is based in Nashville, TN, at a facility's Observation department, primarily working night PRN shifts.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring observation, including ongoing assessments, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and timely interventions to detect changes early.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Cooking diagnostics and treatments.
- Education patients and families to support continuity of care.
Qualifications
- RN licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification within 30 days.
- Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of acute care experience (preferred).
- Might need to obtain NIH Stroke Scale Certification (preferred).
