Responsibilities
- Performs ongoing assessments, cardiac and neurological monitoring, and timely interventions to detect patient changes early.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate diagnostic testing, treatment plans, and ensures safe patient throughput.
- Educates patients and families on disease processes, medications, and discharge instructions to support continuity of care and reduce readmissions.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse with a valid Tennessee Board of Nursing credential and BLS certification.
- Education includes a diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
- PREFERRED: At least 6 months of acute care experience and willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
