OBGYN Sonographer - PRN (70594)

About the role

The Sonographer at Women's Care performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, specialized procedures as directed, and other tasks such as nuchal translucency scans, fetal surveys, hysterosonograms, and 3D-4D scans. Duties also involve documenting and updating information in the patient's electronic medical record, representing the clinic professionally, and participating in team activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized ultrasound exams
• Completes nuchal translucency scans according to established standards and guidelines
• Performs hysterosonograms and 3D-4D scans
• Evaluates and interprets ultrasound images
• Documents and updates patient information in the electronic medical record
• Treats customers courteously and cooperatively
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities
• Demonstrates and embodies Women's Care's mission and core values
• Complies with HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification
• Valid Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience
• Experience with 3D-4D scans
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, providers, and patients
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in the electronic medical record system (eCW a plus)
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual

Qualifications
