OBGYN Sonographer - PRN (72357)

About the role

The Sonographer at Women's Care performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, specialized procedures as directed, and other tasks such as nuchal translucency scans, fetal surveys, hysterosonograms, and 3D-4D scans. Duties also involve documenting and updating information in the patient's electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized ultrasound exams.
• Completes nuchal translucency scans according to established standards and guidelines.
• Performs hysterosonograms and 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates ultrasound images for quality and interprets findings.
• Documents and updates patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Treats customers in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development.
• Demonstrates and embodies Women's Care's mission and core values.
• Complies with HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OBGYN experience required.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, providers, and patients.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use eCW (electronic medical record system).
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
• Able to travel to various clinics within the local region.
• Willing and able to work a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
