OB Tech - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Position: OB Tech Location: Evanston Hospital Hours: Night shift, with weekend rotation Summary: The OB Tech performs scrub tech duties and patient care tasks under RN supervision to ensure patient safety, comfort, and care. Responsibilities include preparing sterile instruments, assisting in surgeries, managing supplies, and supporting patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and treatments. They interact with patients and visitors, provide safe handling and ambulation assistance, and perform clerical and unit support duties. The role involves maintaining sterility, accurate documentation, and supporting the nursing team with indirect care activities.
