OB/GYN Sonographer $15,000 Signing Bonus I Ambulatory Women's Imaging

Scope of Position

Sonographer may perform obstetrical, gynecological, and fetal echocardiogram ultrasound examinations as ordered at all OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations, inpatient care sites, and MFM/WI contracted Outreach sites.

Position Summary

The employee in this position is part of the health care team performing OB/GYN ultrasound examinations, documenting, and relaying examination findings to the appropriate physician and referring facilities. This sonographer utilizes electronic systems to capture images and document findings. The sonographer provides educational opportunities to residents, MFM fellows, and sonography students.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetrical, gynecological, and fetal echocardiogram ultrasound examinations.
• Document and relay examination findings to physicians and referring facilities.
• Utilize electronic systems to capture images and document findings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school.
• Certified by the ARDMS for the specialty OB/GYN examination.
• Previous ultrasound experience is preferred but not necessary.
