OB/GYN Sonographer - $10,000 bonus opportunity!

About the role

The OB/GYN Sonographer position at Medical Associates Clinic is a full-time opportunity with a $10,000 bonus. This role supports the OB/GYN department with various scans including anatomy, early OB, BPP, hysterosonograms, infertility, and pelvis scans.

Responsibilities

• Scan appropriate areas of the body and produce images as requested by the ordering physician
• Recognize and understand pathophysiologic changes as detected by ultrasound to perform preliminary assessments for the interpreting radiologist/physician
• Document a complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered, including pertinent clinical indications
• Review exams with patients and answer any pertinent questions related to the exam
• Process and store images for physician interpretation and permanent archiving
• Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing interventional/invasive procedures
• Maintain sterile and aseptic techniques as necessary
• Perform necessary equipment calibrations and maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer
• Monitor and maintain appropriate supplies for the department

Requirements

• One to three years of similar or related experience
• Equivalent to a college degree
• Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full time sonographers cover four 9-hour shifts during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. No weekends, evenings, or holidays.
