Our Mayo Clinic Echo department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology, and we are looking for amazing Cardiac Sonographers to join our team.
Our lab is one of the largest and most advanced imaging centers in North America; where every day brings variety, collaboration, and purpose. As a Cardiac Sonographer at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, you’ll be part of team that provides care for patients from around the world.
Qualifications
- The Cardiac Sonographer must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree or Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sonography program. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Or Graduate from a non-programmatically accredited cardiac ultrasound program with a minimum of one year training in cardiac ultrasound including 800 clinical hours.
Licensure or Certification
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echo required before start of employment.
- Minimum of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification accepted.
