Qualifications

• Associates degree or Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sonography program required.
• Must have knowledge of cardiac pathophysiology, diagnostic procedures, and patient care procedures. Experience with outreach services helpful. Proven ability to work with co-workers, physicians, and all levels of healthcare professionals.
• One-year of cardiac experience is preferred and be registry eligible. Minimum of one-year experience in adult and pediatric cardiac sonography including experience with transesophageal and stress echo, preferred.
• Licensure or Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or registry eligible for RDCS or RCS. Registry eligible employees must obtain RDCS or RCS within one year of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Valid Minnesota and/or Wisconsin driver’s license.
