About the role
Waverly Gardens is seeking a Full-Time Dining Room Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Located 15 miles north of St. Paul, Waverly Gardens offers a serene environment with amenities including off-street parking, discounted employee meals, and access to a free fitness center.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with meal preparation and service based on established menus, regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Solicit customer feedback regularly and incorporate solutions regarding the quality and satisfaction with meals served into meal and service planning.
- Aid in menu planning.
- Maintain and monitor accurate meal documentation records according to established procedures.
- Clean equipment and work areas as needed.
- Participate in resident care conferences as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school or equivalent education.
- Completion of a food service supervisor course preferred, Certified Dietary Manager preferred.
- One (1) year food service experience in a restaurant, health care, or senior services setting.
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling and kitchen regulations (Serve Safe Certification).
- Experience in food service operations.
- Flexibility, personal integrity, and effective communication with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
Pay and Benefits
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $25.46 - $27.41 per hour. Full-time benefits include health, dental, life insurance, retirement, and paid time off. Part-time benefits include vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and accident & hospitalization coverage. Employees accrue PTO and have access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
